    Not AI features. AI agents.

    5 agents that
    do the work.

Autonomous agents with full course context that grade, plan, intervene, communicate, and accommodate — then ask for your approval.

    Grading Agent

Reads each submission, checks against your rubric, generates a score with feedback and a confidence score. You approve, edit, or reject.

    Intervention Agent

Watches engagement and grades. Drafts check-in messages before students fail.

    Content Agent

    Communication Agent

    8 min → 1 min per message

Drafts parent updates, student check-ins, and announcements. You review, it sends.

    Drafted for Mrs. Petrov
"Hi Mrs. Petrov, Elena's been doing great in lab — scored 19/20 on the respiration quiz. She's showing real improvement in data analysis…"

    Accommodation Agent

Reads IEP/504 plan, applies extra time and reader automatically on every quiz.

    Ember reads the submission.

Every essay, lab report, and problem set is parsed in context — not just keywords. The agent pulls the rubric, IEP, and prior work to understand what "good" looks like for this student.

    2.0Match →

    Each rubric criterion is checked.

Criterion by criterion, the agent compares the submission to your rubric. It cites the specific paragraph where evidence was found — not a vague score.

    3.0Draft →

    Feedback written in your voice.

The agent drafts specific, actionable feedback — referencing the exact paragraph, suggesting a concrete revision, and linking back to course materials. Editable before it's sent.

    4.0Confidence →

    Honest confidence scores.

The agent never hides its uncertainty. Low-confidence grades are flagged for your eyes first. You always know which suggestions to trust and which to scrutinize.

    5.0Approve →

    You approve. Always.

Nothing reaches a student without your sign-off. Batch-approve the high-confidence grades in one click. Edit, reject, or rewrite any suggestion. You're in control — Ember does the busywork.

    A letter from our founder

    Why we built Ember.

A personal note from the person who started it.

I started Ember because I watched my mother — a 25-year high school biology teacher — spend her Sundays grading instead of being with our family. She loved teaching. She hated the paperwork.

Every LMS I tried made things worse. Legacy tools were slow, broken, or powerless. None of them used AI to actually help — they just added more clicks.

Ember is different. Our AI agents don't just suggest — they do the work. They grade. They plan. They intervene. They accommodate. Teachers approve, but the busywork is gone. That's not a feature. It's a foundation.
